A letter about identity, purpose, accountability, and the cost of pride.
I owe you an apology. I wasted your potential. I allowed pride, ego, and poor decisions to influence the direction of our life. Instead of building the future we were capable of creating, I chose paths that led to pain, regret, and incarceration. Believe in yourself. Choose your friends carefully. Understand that every decision carries consequences. Invest your time wisely and focus on building character, discipline, and purpose. The future version of you is determined by the choices you make today. Learn from mistakes, but do not become defined by them. Continue moving forward, keep growing, and never stop believing that you can become more than your circumstances.
